Default Decisions...Decisions

Well i have a big decison to make and i need some opinions from you guys who have your own place..I am planning on going to the university of pittsburgh for my last two years of college and not really wanting to live in the dorms..so I was looking and found some really nice apartments and duplexes in or right near the city that i think would be awesome places to life while going to college..So the big decision is to stay at home and keep my cobra or move into my own place in pittsburgh, go to a sweet college but have to keep my GT..opinions I cant make up my mind :wallbash:

Sell your Gt, live in a ****ty apartment, take Greg's idea and live in your Cobra. At least no one will ever knock where you live. Eh.

Anyone who sacrifices a Cobra just so they don't have to live in a dorm for 2 years is outta their mind.

Grimmz is right.....Some of the best years of my life were living on campus during college. I had a freaking blast! I'm not going to tell you to sell one car or another cause it's really a decision that your going to have to make alone. I would highly suggest finding a way to make you happy with the car situation and move out and be a college kid. Yeah, you can have fun and still live at home, but dude it's so much more fun when you live on campus....especially if you have a live campus.....

Plus living on your own makes it a lot easier to get laid.....you don't have to worry about mom walking in! ha ha

LoL sumtimes... but seriously u got a GT stang, once u graduate u can worry about ur Cobra... I coulda gone to Mass. Maritime Academy and graduated...getting a Cobra as a graduation present...OR I could go to FSU graduate, have my V6, keep it and buy 4 more with the money I'd make?....

college experience is a once in a life time opportunity, don't waste it living at home....

I moved out years ago and had a truck payment and was in college. It was a big eye opener but you learn to be more responsible with your money..not saying you aren't, but even if you think you are, you become MORE responsible. I had a roomie then and it was still a struggle sometimes. I traded the truck in and got my Mustang and moved into my own place a couple months later which meant more money to live, more for bills, bigger car payment and insurance. It really feels nice when you pay for your own place and still have a nice car. It really impresses the ladies too when they see someone that is responsible on their own and doesn't have to depends on anyone to help support them. I say keep both cars and get into the dorm. Do what you can to be money smart and keep everything on your own. If it does become to much of a stuggle and you know for sure it won't work, then make the decision what you should do. That is my opinion.

I dunno it's a big decision. I think it depends on what you make out of college and what things you like about it. I got my own apartment this year at school and it's alright I guess but I actually wanted to move back home and go to community college. I didn't do it but still. The apartment is cool for some things and doing whatever I want but I can actually do that at home. I feel like I have more freedom at home, my parents don't really care what I do at all. Maybe it's just my school that sucks.

Thats what i was thinking when I bought my car, that I would just stay home and go to the college I go to now which is a nice school but I have a couple friends who go to pittsburgh and have their own places in the city so I went down the past weekend and it was awesome...We just partyed all night and there is so much to do and **** goign on..It just seems like It would be really cool to have that big city right there and go to a reallly nice school which my parents are paying for so I dont have to worry about that..I think im goign to just keep my car and see if I could pull it off and if not ill just sell my car or move back home
