Default Anyone got the MT catted X pipe?

I don't see this as a tech question, so I posted it here. I am getting an order together, so Chris can take some more of my money :icon_joke and I am thinking about the Mustang Tuning catted X pipe. Right now I have the SLP catback. Does anyone have this setup? Or have heard the catted version of the MT X pipe? I am going to keep my car street legal, so I'm gonna stay with my cats.

I have it but I'm not too sure what I think about it just yet. I have tightened every bolt 3 times and theres still a leak...I've decided I'm gonna take the copper header gasket maker and put it everywhere there is a connection in the pipe. Also, I have the catted x with mils and theres still a check engine light coming on-this could be from a bad o2 sensor, but I don't think so because it started coming on right after I installed the pipe. The sound is ok, definately louder, but more like a camaro. Maybe my opinion will change after everything gets worked out

I took my MT x-pipe off because of a leak but decided about 3 months ago to put it back on and I fixed the anoying leak by bending the flange in to make it tighter. My MIL's fixed the Check light and I haven't had a problem with the setup since I put it back on. SLP and the MT X-pipe are wicked loud.

So you have to get MIL's on the catted X pipe?

no, he just has catless x-pipes, but maybe you would into the same leak problem with the catted ( i guess that was the point of his post???)

MT reccomends MIL's even with their catted pipe.

Mine is catted but the check engine light came on after my 6th run down the 1/4 mile during the fall. So after my car started to run like crap I got some MIL's and installed them and haven't had a problem since. I actually got the MT X-pipe off of Chris at the warehouse. The thing had a wicked leak for 2 months before I decided to take it off. After having it off for a month or so I put it back on but after I tightened the female adapter on the left side of the pipe. It sealed up really tight and I have had no problems other than when I try to drive quitely around town. The problems with the catted pipe is that the stupid heat sheild around it kept on cracking after I had it welded 2 times I just removed the sheild. Vibrated way to much kinda like what some bad systems sound like when you pull up next to rice. Simple enough fix for me I just hope during the summer it doesn't get too hot under there and melts stuff! It is a good pipe and it is cheaper than SLP which I would have bought in the first place but funds prevent that from happening.

I put a Flowtech Xpipe on mated to a Magnaflow Cat back i put on 2 weeks ago, Nice SOTP boost. My gtech accel Meter, i test 40 to 65 mph to rule out tire spin picked up some Gs. So definitly worth it. Car sounds a lot better. I have no leaks. I have a Mig welder and was ready to fire it up, but No leaks.

I put Some UPR mils i bought on it. Check engine light was on until i unhooked the battery to reset the computer. Drove it yesterday and today. No Light.
