I was coming home for lunch this evening around 6:30 PM. ( I work 2nd shift). and usually friday nights around here are full of everyone cruising and going out to do whatever. I just happened to get caught in a group of imports, just cruising, not really speeding but still all the neon lights and fart cans blaring. I just drove my normal drive home. A guy in a Silver Honda was in front of me with a dam big ole wing. I could see his head in the middle of his car and real low. (you know how they do, lean to the right like they're sitting in the middle). LOL :wallbash:

Anyway, We came up on the yellow light and I was watching him go through it turning left, I was going straight and it turned red on me but I was not paying attention, It was red for at least 2 seconds and I went through it while watching riceman turn left and laughing at his super wing. I was just beside myself because I saw the red light for that long and still didn't stop.
Until I was through it did I realize what a dumbass I am. I will change my priorities as far as THINKING goes forthence. Needless to say I got that real hot feeling in my face from that stupid move. I just tried to act normal for everyone behind me who saw it..

Yep. But still I pride myself on being a good driver. Been driving for 30 years now with 0 wrecks, and only 2 tickets, I dont need to start ****ing up now. I will continue to jump on the occasional stop light challenge, when deemed necessary but, I still need to keep my record clean..

 

 

nice back home i get confused on my drives home, sometimes I get caught at a light thats red and think it's just a flashing red cuz most of them are...I've made a left turn at that before...
