I would either get some springs, maybe get the windows tinted. What do you want out of your car?

basically he is going to finish with all the normal bolt ons, i recomend new gears and T-lock for our winters... as for making it look 'really hott' there are a good many things you can do (as you have done to your current mustang) so thats all perference and whatnot, definately lower it if not go all out on suspension... I doubt that you will want more power after you finish the bolt ons... after all you will actually be DRIVING your car now =D

Use $2500 and buy a Gt not 96-98 years, this will be the best mod you can do.

Dont you have a GT right now? What are you selling it for, just to go to a slower V6? Sounds dumb to me, especially one painted what sounds like "stunna orange" Just a though. Good luck with whatever you decide on.

got rice? *snicker* j/k, with the $2500 head unit you wont have 2500 left over... ? :evil1:
So he wants to do what toyota did with there cars for a while, make them look fast but not back them up. His reasoning behind getting a 'slower V6' is because it is fast enough for him, and the manual aspect of it provides the thrill, he wont be racing it on the track (he will be racing me, with a v6, around here we dont have many 'fast cars' so as it is it will be fast). After all he can do many more 'performance mods' down the road when he is on his own and eventually actually has money to spend on his car. The car he is talking about buying was destined for big things (thats why it has the chip racing seats exhaust and air intake) the owner had planned on supercharging it, but now is whimping out and buying either a 240SX with a skyline motor or something in it or a 300ZX with a larger skyline engine in it. The owner had owned a nice blue subaru SVX for a few years, when my brother made him want to test drive a 2003 Mustang Cobra, he did, and fell in love with it, didnt want to drive anything other than a mustang ever. Well, he wouldn't have been able to keep paying off the cobra, so he opted to keep the insurance rates of the V6 and do some MAJOR mods to it in the end being one of those guys pushing 400hp out of the 3.8. he simply grew tired with it i guess... and wants to buy something already fast, such as these little imports. Everyone has a reason for owning a V6, our reason is we are young, and really dont need anymore power... just, not yet :evil1:
[/stupid endless useless rant]
EDIT- The orange used is much like the orange used on the old Mach 1's Calypso Coral is the color i believe...

Adding a stereo is easy, adding a supercharger is difficult and costly. V6 stangs lose their value quickly since rental cars have these. If you are unhappy about your auto Gt then sell it and buy a manual GT. If you cant buy the same year buy one a year older. Changing many things on a car takes away value as you will never get your money back, head unit does not add to the car.
In one year the head unit will be worth half, in 2 years half of that as newer and better ones come out. The guy you are buying the car from is smart he is getting out of this project leaving it for some other sucker to do it. You may have 400hp from a v6 with serious mods but to get there you have to strain your wallet and engine. You can add a supercharger to a stock GT and get more than 400hp without straining the engine and you will still be slower that the gt. In the long run your engine will break and the GT wont. This comes from experince I had an SVO 4cyn turbo, I had about 300hp 18lbs of boost. Now Im going to get more HP from a cobra block in my GT than I ever could from the SVO and this is all motor. For more power start with a powerful motor.

In that case stick with your current Gt. Do mods that you can move to your next car. When you sell your auto GT it will sell for more than a manual can ever sell for. You can always add a shift kit for your tranny.
