what tint?
Alright, I'm finally getting my car tinted tomorrow morning and I'm still trying to decide what % I want. I'm thinking 20 or 25% but I'm leaning towards 20. It's a 2004 DSG and I live in the Philly suburbs if that helps anyone's opinions. As far as I know, anything darker than 35 around here is illegal but that's just not as dark as I want and I really don't want the back darker than the fronts so what do you all think? I'm interested to hear some opinions/see some good pics before I officially go with the 20%. For all I know it may only take 2 days before I get pulled over for it but I'm getting a deal and a half on it so I won't lose any sleep over it if I'm forced to scrape it off at any point.
Also, I'll have to see what they say when I take it in but what's the best way to deal with the dot matrix? I hear it won't stick well over it and you have some options of dealing with it. What's the best way short of shaving off the dots and will any of them be a problem if I ever have to take the tint off? Thanks for any input.

I have 20% on the door's and Limo on the rest.My installer did'nt have any problem's with the Dot's,some places say they do and want too put vinyl on there.I like the darker tint on the small sides and rear.20% would'nt be too bad all around though.I just like it darker.

I had 20% on my last stang, It does'nt realy do anything. With 20 people can see in your car, and it does'nt keep the heat out from the sun. I have 5% on my car now, I love it but I do have to role the windows down at night at stop signs and stuff to see.

I got 25% all around cuz of laws back in MD, if I lived in FL, i'd go with 15%...then again I don't care if people can see inside during the day, It just contrasts the car beautifully...
