Default Ford Dealer & Warranties

So I took the 6-gun to the local ford dealer to ask about the warranty. I went through the service garage with my info and everything and I went up to the desk and this was the conversation...

Woman: "Yes can I help you?"

Me: "Yes I've recently had some troubles with one of my catalytic banks for my Mustang, and my dealer said that it was covered under a 8/80,000 warranty (thanks Randy), and I want to get that taken care of.."

Woman: "Right... well well the warranty only covers defective parts..."

Me: :wallbash: (after five seconds) "Yeeeeeeep... and that why I'm here darlin'."

Woman: "Well... did you want us to check it?"

Me: :wallbash:

DUURRR... DURRRR.... DURRRRRRRRRRRRR.......... :bash:

And just an update... I took it to Ford and they said that since the exhuast was modified it was not covered by the warranty.... AND in addition to that they stuck me with a $72 Diagnostic fee and a estimate of

$2,000 FOR ALL PARTS AND LABOR

and that was to turn it back to STOCK! so I told them to go take a walk and am now saving up for a SLP X-Crosspipe and a SLP Loudmouth Catback...

aparrently not.. the work done by the previous owner was soo non-OEM that it warranted a full exhaust replacement.
