Question Well time for New batt and Cables....

My battery is old, and messed up, my cables are super corroded...

I think im gonna get an Optima (what color top? Id like yellow cus it matches could I go with that? ) also where would be a good place to order it?

also where can i get quality battery cables with out spending a fortune?

www.ebay.com for yellow top

look on optimas website for the size you need. you could use yellow but i recommend red. yellow is for a continuous current draw, not a hard quick current draw like starting your vehicle. red is for the hard quick starts.

other than shorten the life of the battery... no. you may have trouble starting it in the cold weather because thats not what its designed for.

dammit and i live in CO...screw it ill just get red


and on 5.0 resto, the cables are 155 bucks and theyre just OE, is there better than OE cables?

I ran a yellow top on my S10 and never had a problem.

Yellows are good if you have big stereo systems.
