as far as h pipe the only that will fit without any modifications is the bbk h pipe, however almost any h pipe or x pipe can be modified to work with the headers you have but it will be hard and you might have leaks.

I had a shop do mine, took him 2 days. Was 600 dollars of labor. I was mad cuz he thought it would be like 300-400. he's used to corvettes, so yea, that explains it, much more room on those.

no, you'll have about a 2 foot gap between the stock headers and the shorty pipe.

If you're gonna do long tubes, and want to step up gradually, go with SLP.

Get the full legth mid pipe, theirs is modular, meaning the front pipes can be removed and it will then be a "shorty" pipe that bolts up to their long tubes. I'm not sure if it will line up with other brand LT's.

Then when you get the LT's, sell off your front pipes to somebody who wants an SLP X for their stock manifold/shorty header car... then they only have to buy the shorty x.
