There are TONS of options. Essentially, you can choose between box shaped, round, steel, aluminum, fixed, or adjustable.

Prices range from about $150 for a set of upper and lowers to about $500 or more I suppose.

I have a set of UPR's. They are a steel alloy and non-adjustable. They run about $200 to $225 for a set. UPR has a sale right now which I think is 20% off if you have the coupon code.

Steeda's are highly thought of. They make various price ranges.

Fixed will be fine unless you are getting into serious racing.

okay calm urself Brett...my game goes way to fast for you to even step in...and as you have seen i run things around our school....

back to the control arms...im not looking to spend to much money on them..probably somthing like 150-225 would be my limit..now your telling me i would wanna go with both uppers and lowers...and as far as the adjustments and stuff i wanna get somthing that i install and neva have to play with again lolhahah seriously tho..

Hmm, well Id say you should go Maximum motorsports lowers for I think 240 and FRPP uppers for 65 bucks. AT LEAST get the lowers, Ive heard diff opinions on the uppers.

I'm a noobie when it comes to UCA's and LCA's.. do they offer anything as far as appearance goes? I've always heard they are suppose to help you hook at the track, but any other benefits?

The dent was just for aerodynamics. Kinda like speed holes...

Control arms keep the back-end plant and prevent wheel hop. They also help the car launch straight.

The control arms are very important on our cars. This is where ALL the force from the wheels is transferred to the body of the car when launching. The stock arms are not as strong and flex. They become more important as you add power.

I am making my final decision now on lca's. I am definately going with steeda uppers(99.00) and MM lowers(250.00) or Metco's.

Depending on which trailing arms you get, they can change the geometry of your rear suspension to improve traction, handling, weight distribution, axel wind up, and axel location. The factory trailing arms have rubber bushings(weak) and are a stamped steel design(weak). The uppers are angled to locate and center the rear end, albeit they don't do it real well in factory form. The rear sway bar is bolted between the LTAs and the rear springs depend on them for support. Upgrading the uppers IMO is just as important and the lowers. Unless your doing serious racing, adjustables wouldn't be ness. on a street car or weekend warrior. Also something else to consider when selecting some is weight. The less unsprung weight, you have the better it will handle.
