i hate insurance adjusters. he said that there is 5800 worth of damage, and he is totaling reguardless of what has been done to it. he told me the price, and i called bs on him. i told him that i could get it fixed for less, then he told me he could too. how can you tell me a quote then tell me you can do it for less? he's lucky the owner of the shop is a preacher. i would've beatten him to death with a stuffed animal, do you know how long and drawn out that would be. oh pain. but the good thing is that the shop has a totaled 98' cobra. i tried to get the engine, and wheels from him but hes already claimed them. leather interior check, power windows and locks check, big brakes check, fog lights check. if any body needs anything from it hit me up CHEAP.

 

wait im confused...they're giving you 5,800 bucks but you dont want it because u can get it fixed for less??? get it fixed for less and pocket the rest

 

my bad i guess i didnt tell the whole story. i dont want it totaled, and the adjuster said that 5800 dollars would total it. i dont want to deal with a salvaged title. i find out on monday what the "fair market value" is. but geico will only pay 75% of the value, anything above that is a total. and here in fayetteville the market for mustangs is flooded, their everywhere. nada says its worth 6374. kelly says its worth 5340. the car is in near mint, it has a few dings in it, but that was it.
