According to ford I will get 15,500 for my 2004 GT with 23000 mi. I was thinking about trading it for a 2003 Mach 1 with 8,500 mi. The Mach 1 is about 22,000. Anybody have an opinion on whether i should consider the trade.

 

ur talkin about loosin 7 grand...ehhh thats more then enough money for complete bolt ons and ported engine work...so as an economist i'd say no...but then again I love the Mach 1's...

 

If you are buying it just for the performance I would say no because you can be making close to 400 horsepower with that 7 grand in the GT..I love the mach 1's though and i almost bought one but with the money i saved I have a s/c going on in the spring

 

Never EVER trade in with a Ford dealer unless you like your ***** being ripped off.

Sell privately, then buy.

I picked up my 01 GT for 12,500 then have put about 10K into performance and appearance to have a 400 hp car that is rather unique. I could have gotten a grey mach for around 23K a couple years ago but I really wouldn't have been able to afford to make it "my own"
