i had to stop reading it....i was getting mad at how retarded neon drivers are. come on....stock for stock the SRT would beat a cobra? I may not have the fastest car in the world...but i just know i handed a SRT his *** the other night. There's no way he can hang with a cobra.

 

I dont understand how the cobra runs high 12s STOCK and the neon srt4 runs low 14s stock, yet they all say they smoke any cobra anyday? Can you really be that stupid? how about I say my mustang beats the 06 z06 in every race category?

I think it is the best when they get pissed when you call the srt-4 a neon, they need to face the facts, it is. Them saying the srt-4 is not a neon is like us saying a cobra is not a mustang. Yes a cobra has a diffrent drivetrain, suspension, ect, but it is still a mustang. All an srt-4 is is a suped up neon and they need to face those facts.

Nothin wrong with Vtec Hondas, my best friend has one... it can't smoke the Mustang but its pretty quick, and definately fun to drive around.

The thing that gets me is they keep saying the srt-4 wasn't racing. Why would you go thru the trouble of mounting slicks if your not gonna race?

 

Drive one that isnt stock and you'll understand. when the cam switches over to the bigger lobes its like you're driving a whole different car.

 

I remember a kid senior year of high school (moosestang gt owner) died racing a srt-4 neon. I was thinking hard as to why someone would risk their life to best a ****box. From what I heard the gt was winning. But, like a dumbass that kid that died was racing on a hilly street with no shocks nor struts....no street lights either.
