Default My thoughts on Mustangs after 1 year

Bought my brand new 04 GT 1 year ago last week. For me it was a long thought out decision. My 1st Ford. A GM man I used to be, and in a way I still love GM cars. But I started looking at mustangs in 2003. I saw many Mach 1's and Cobras and GT's. Finally decided to get a new car last Oct. 1st place I went was The Ford lot. I knew I wanted a mustang. And I knew I wanted at least a GT. Saw my torch red stang as soon as I pulled in. And eventually bought her. Pretty red car my wife said.. (she has a very big influence on what i can and cannot do/ have/ etc..) LOL.

Anyway I've had my stang a whole year and I couldn't be happier. I'm making my car look like I want. But has this ever caused any problems with anyone else as to why you would want to spend money on a new car instead of leaving it looking stock. My wife just shakes her head when I get something new too add to the appearance. I say Mustangs were made to look better and run faster than the day you bought it. LOL. I will start modding for performance when I get the look I want. I got Mustang fever before I even owned one. Here's my stang the day I brought her home.

glad your happy with it I spent like 6 months looking for a car before i found my stang, even though it is my first car i bought I am very happy with it. I dont know what i would do without modding my car and i already screwed my 5 year warrenty up but its worth it. Best bang for your buck

I say, if you have a car that you can mod(engine OR visual), then do it. Not many muscle cars look that great when personalized. Take the camaro or transam...sure the transam looks nice while stock, but the huge wing that it has...and everything else...is really un-moddable. You can give it different rims, but it'd look weird. Same w/ the camaro, VERY few rim selections or grill changes and whatnot look nice on it so most ppl end up keeping them 100% stock...stangs on the other hand...have a generous amount of dressup that can make them stand out and still look really nice. I dont care if a stock z28 or transam is faster...I'll keep my GT
