Recording Sound clips

What do you guys find to be the most successful method of recording your Mustang's exhuast tones and then getting it to computer?

I have not tried it yet, BUT I have a hand-held that records wav files. That should work.

My digital camera has sound clip option I have a clip of my exhaust on the forum.
