Default Car was vandalized

This happened a couple weeks ago but I decided to take pictures and tell you guys about it.

Couple weeks ago I was at one of the local cruising strips. Its a big strip full of food joints and stores galore and people bring out their rides to cruise up and down. Well I grabbed some mcdonalds with 2 friends, ate, and then went back out. I was driving, minding my own buisness when a tan lumina came up next to me and started laughing. I didnt think much of it so I kept on my way. We both pulled up to a red light and I was paying attention to the road when I heard "SMACK". The driver threw something at my vehicle and turned the corner and tried taking off. I didnt know what happened when one of my buddies said "they threw something at your car! get em!" I hop over the lane and chase after them. They are flying through this back road thats long untill they come up to a construction area with a red light and someone already waiting for it. They pull up behind him and I fly along the side and stop him so he cant turn around. We are about to get out of the car when the guy flies into reverse and backs up into a bank to avoid me. I slam it in reverse and alls I see is smoke in front of me from my tires and chase him into the banks parking lot. He doesnt see a quick exit so he flies into the grass and over the curb and runs a red light to get away from me. I follow him but stop at the light. He continues to try and run away running stop signs. he must of ran about 4 in a residential neighborhood. I continue to follow him while he is gaining a lot of room in front of me because im almost stopping for these signs. Well hes about 1/4 mile ahead of me when it turns into a long straight strip so im giving it ***** to the wall and before I know it im at 130 and gaining on him very quickly. The road turns into a 6 way stop with a center median and he stops and sits there so I fly along side of him and stop nearly hitting his car and running up a curb. I get of out my vehicle with my 2 friends and I run towards this guys car. I want very happy as you can tell and adrenaline was pumping pretty hard. I would of ripped this guy and his 2 friends out of the car and gave them a world of hurting but before I get to his car I see a police SUV and he flicks his lights on. The cop seen me fly up along side of this guy and get out and run towards his car and 3 cops get out and yell for me to get back in my car. I didnt comply untill they yelled it for the 3rd time and threatened me so I get back in and sit down. The cops ask what happened and I tell them they threw something at my car. The driver of the other vehicle was denying everything because I could hear them with my windows down. He eventully told them he threw a pigs head at my car and we had to go down to the police station. They put me in an investigation room and the other kid somewhere else and came back and forth asking what happened. Eventually the cop came in with the kid saying he wanted to appoligize and work this out. He wanted to pay cash for this and not go through insurance so I say thats ok because I work at a dealership and know I could have it side-jobbed or done cheap. I got all his information and went home. I go into work and get a $908.xx estimate for the damage and let the kid know so he agrees to pay cash. I talked to Dent Wizard and he told me he can pull it out for $120. I ended up getting the full payment yesterday night and he was sprised on how quick I caught up to him. It took a lot for me not to whip this guys *** but I know the outcome would not be worth it because we both have eachothers information. Car hasnt been fixed yet but Im going to see if it could get done tomarrow - monday.

Damned, that took a lot of restraint on your behalf. And he still doesnt have a reason for trashing your car?

At least you have almost 800 bucks to play with.

Matt:

That sucks dude!

You are lucky to not have made the situation worse in the chase. Next time just get the guys plates and head to the police station. The end result would have been the same.

I was told his friend that was with him, worked at a butcher shop and it was inteded for someone else that they couldnt find. I just happened to be the random fallout guy. I didnt provoke anything.

Ill have dent wizard pull it out, invest in 13" cobra brakes and SS lines up front, and replace rotors and pads out back. My brakes are SHOT! Ill throw the rest in the bank and let it sit for a winter beater.

Does this mean you now know what the expression "in a Pig's eye" means?

This guy sounds like a real winner.

That does suck, but at least you made some extra dollars. I don't think I could have kept my cool like that. My car wasn't vandilized but I have a story too. When I go to class I always park at the end of one of the rows so I can take up extra space in the area with the white lines that isn't a space, you know? Anyway I do that so nobody carelessly opens their door on me or something. Well one day when I came out of class there were two orange construction cones on my car, one was on the top in the middle, and the other was on my hood scoop. I was so pissed. I asked the girl who was getting in her car next to me if she knew anything about it, of course she didn't. Luckily my car wasn't scratched. I don't know who would do such a thing. You would think in college people are more mature but I guess not. Now for christmas I'm planning on getting a very sensitive alarm system.

Just think of how many times that happens to someone everyday. Young punks doing random stupid **** to someone elses car. That is the very reason I quit riding with my .44 magnum in the car. I would hate to goto jail for life because someone dented my q-panel with a pigshead. But when the adreneline gets flowing and you got that big equalizer with you. It's not easy to think rationally. Plus when the cops do show up You got a gun. You have to let them know you have it and if it concealed you are in violation of the law. ( I guess I went off topic, Sorry). Anyway, you did good by following the little Bastid. I bet it was hard to keep that *** whoopin off of him and his punk *** friends.

I had the dent removed for 60 bucks as a side job. You NEVER even knew anything happened there. No scratches, marks, dings, ANYTHING... Looks like I made $870 for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or does that turn into right place at the right time?

Hmm what can I buy for 870?

Instead of buying cobra brakes I think its going to put my car away for this winter and get me a good start on a winter beater thats reliable and decent. No point in spending 600 on brakes when it will be sitting after they go on for 4 months.

You have made a wise decision my friend. Although, those cobras would look killer peakin out from behind the bullitts...and you could buy deep dishes for the back...lol jk man. Buy the beater.
