Default Mid-pipe for SLP

I'm getting a mid-pipe for my '00 black GT, I have Flowmaster 40s with DeltaFlow. I was wondering which mid-pipe would work best. I want the car to be loud, but retain the "Mustang" sound that I love. If I'm not satisfied I plan on getting a Loudmouth 1 or II, what's the difference and which mid-pipe would sound best with the SLP. I have heard an x-pipe makes the exhaust ricey, and would I be better off with an O/R or catted mid-pipe?

PS:
Sorry for so many questions.

its all about opinion, an o/r h-pipe will probably be the lowagressive growl you want, an x creates more power though. slp x pipes dont make it sound ricey, they make it sound raspy, kinda snap crackles and pops at high rpms, alot of people dont like it, but I love it!

He's right. The x pipe with a flow will sound raspy ( not ricey) at about 2100-2300 rpm but stops after that. I didn't like it at first, but now its all good to me. At idle it will sound very healthy and at WOT it will sound like a beast. It sounds amazing as you cruise thru a parking lot and you will definitally get get comments on the sound. enjoy!
