Default quick question MT

http://www.mustangtuning.com/v6duexadkit1.html

my frined was getting his exhaust done on his 99+ v6 and the shop said they wouldn't do it because they would have to cut off the cats.

Doesn't make sense.

http://www.macperformance.com/store/...Product_ID=315

that's the system and any muffler shop will fabricate a small H pipe from scrap piping and attach it to the exhust, welded or clamped. however this shop seems off... that's the system.

and this Hpipe system here seems it will do the trick without cutting the cats off. ( I swear to god it doesn't make sense)

but why doe that left pipe point out to the left.....

If someoen can explain that, and if it will bolt tot hat system and i guess it clamps on to the old system and clamps in the middle. that would work great. I'll tell him this is def what he is looking for and to buy it from here.

any information will be great.

the reason it goes to the left is because it attaches to the stock y-pipe, it has to be cut and then have that pipe welded on so it looks like. then you can use a GT catback. you cant use the catback you have us linked to. Because its for stock y-pipe mustangs.

for a throaty sound and up to 20 more horsepower! Just add a cat back system and everyone will think you're packin' a V-8.
Come on Chris did you steal this from RPM Outlet or something. No way someones getting 20 hp from a bolton catback.

LOL, I didn't write that, Pete probably took it off another website. I'll have our website gone over for stuff like this when we get some free time.

No the one he ordered said for GT COBRA and it doesnt come with the Y pipe conversion.

So would it still work?

and basically this will bolt on to the cat back and weld on AFTER the cats where they would have to cut the pipes.

The CAT back he has is for GT 2 and 1/2 inch piping.

This is URGENT if someone can reply. thank you guys

To tell you the truth, I am not sure.

My friend has a V6 with a standard GT take off exhaust catback , he just brought it to a regular exhaust shop and they were done an hour later.

Thanks Chris, I'll keep asking around elsewhere. Yeah it's weird right. they should be able to do this, maybe he went to a wrong shop, would meinake do this kind of aftermarket work, prolly charge an arm and leg however

By any chance chris do you have a manufacturer of that part I can call and ask them?
