Default Ups gets the finger!

*%&#&^&$*#) SOB! So, the black bullitts were supposed to come today, well, they sat 10 mins from my house since early yesterday morning. Well, supposed to be delivered today but come home to find no wheels. Well, get on ups.com and see that oh, we didnt have a correct street address, but we waited until the last damn minute to realize this so we'll bump it back to tomm. Oh well, maybe im being stupid, but youd think they would call me or the shipper to find out BEFORE the delivery day.

I can't say anything about my UPS chick, she is rather fine. She also comes with me toys.

I had a bad experience with my chin spoiler. I had it sent to my office because I have an apt and you have to sign for it. Anyway it was supposed to be delivered on a Friday. I saw the UPS man coming but someone else met him at the door. No package for me and it said online "out for delivery" I saw him meet up with another UPS truck across the parking lot so I was hoping it was on the other truck. Both trucks finally left and nothing So I was pissed at left work. I got home and I saw online they tried to deliver at 5 but nobody was there. Someone was there till 630 so i was more pissed. Called them to schedule a pick up on Monday at the location. So I go there Monday and no chin spoiler They say the guy put it back on the truck. They ask if I want to meet him and I said sure. They said they would call in about 30 min to let me know where he was so I went home. They call and he is right by my office which is 35 min away so I say **** it just tell him to deliver it to the office. They call back 30 min later while I was getting my windows tinted and said they actually had it on site and it wasn't on the truck. By now I am furious. Finally go there to get it and it was pouring rain so I had to take it out of the box and run to the car with just the chin spoiler. Long story..sorry.

Your short throw sits on top of the shifter gasket. Its simply a rubber peice for your trans. It absorbs a lot of shift noise caused by short throw and it prevents the silicone mess that you can make and get in the trans. and provides a better seal. 9 dollars is deffinetly worth the hassle of silicone and possible mess caused by silicone.

Good point. That sucks though, since I had planned on installing after work tomorrow Do you think a local parts store (Pep Boys, Autozone) might carry them? Either that or the stealership

I doubt it. They are trans specific. It cant be much to overnight. it probably doesnt even weigh a pound with the shipping material, gasket, reciept, and packaging.

Damn. I was looking forward to getting the shifter in ASAP! Waiting the week for it to get here was bad enough.

fedex isnt any better than ups. they delayed delivery of some parts to my house for 3 days because everyday they "ran out of time" so they just stopped delivering at 7pm and went back. i bitched out so many supervisors over that they had somebody drive it out on a saturday night in his personal car to hand deliver it to me. i've had ups deliver as late as 10pm before. they dont stop until their truck is empty.
