MT Contest - Combo & Kit Paks
Just wanted to say I enjoyed the new MT Contest - got my 5 suggestions in.
Personally, I like the "complete system" approach to part buying. Some more suggestions...
Billet Master Show Pak that includes complete interior & underhood, EVERYTHING available, designed to mesh with same finish (not some polished, some machined, some in between).
Brake system that includes Cobra kit with cross-drilled rotors, front and back, ss lines, correct pads, etc.
Exhaust system complete and compatible from long tubes to after cat tips.
Wheels & Tires - MT, start mounting/balancing these guys (you must be exploring this...)

crossdrilled and slotted are going to do nothing but eat your brakes alive in a street car. They are designed for track and strip use. Your brakes dont glow red from going from 160 to 40 instantly, so you dont need that kind of setup.
all i know is yes slotted is too much but cross drilled helps. my car will flat out stop. if you ain't wearing a seat belt and i make an emergency stop it's like let me introduce you to my little windshield............
There are standard rotors. There are cross drilled rotors. There are slotted rotors. And there are cross drilled AND slotted rotors.
I agree. Cross drilled AND slotted rotors are noisy, troublesome, and not really meant for the street. I've got a pair on the rear of my ride (Baer Eradispeed Plus 13"). Look dynamite. Stop on a dime and give 9 cents change (I have cross drilled rotors with Hawk pads on the front).
Cross drilled is what I listed, and what I'd recommend. No problems with the front wheels - the noise from the rears are turning me into an axe murderer.
