When ever I click a thread it opens up a tree view...how do I stop that? I went to user cp and the thread view is set to linear... ???

Is this only happening to me...It's starting to **** me off.

It only happens on one of the computers at my work...I think I clicked something and I am getting tired of it...does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Im in the tech arena so give this a try. Pick up your mouse and make sure you dont click on any of the buttons . After you have done this turn it 360 degrees, now set it back down and see if it works.

Its an ongoing joke that another tech and I have. What happened is that he called tech support and was working on a problem on a PC. The support guy said to get the CPU cooler and turn it 180degrees the reason why is to see if it was installed wrong but this certain machine the orientation does not matter. He saw how the support guy was not being helpful so he said turning it worked and hung up then called me so we figured it out. Then next day I called in support for a problem and the first thing the guy told me was to turn the CPU heatsink 180 degrees even though we were dealing with a dead machine. When I told my coworker about this he laughed as he had told the support guy that it worked and got his PC running again the previous day. From now on anytime we asked each other for advice on anything we say "blah, blah, blah now the next step is to turn it 360 degrees, did that work?"

Oh...I see, that sucks that tech support would do that to someone...do they really recommened people to mess with the heatsink...I would think that most people wouldn't be comfortable doing that...I usually reseat mine every couple of months to keep it cool...over the summer, even though my comp. is water cooled it got kinda hot...I had to reduce the multiplier and voltage. Works good now that the weather is nicer.
