Parked next to my co workers 05 Saleen.
I have always thought my car was pretty sweet until today. I parked next to one of my team members 05 Sonic Blue Saleen. His car looked so awesome compared to mine that i started to park somewhere else. It just seems like no matter how much time and money i put into my car... it will never be on that level.
I guess i am a little out of my league to be racing him...... but i aint never scared .

XLR8 said it true.... as far as 2005 models go, unless you have the 40+ thousand dollar SC Saleen or just as expensive stage 3 SC Roush, any decently modded GT or Cobra will dust them in a race. There are very very few of the supercharged 2005 Saleens and Roushs on the street today, all the rest just look pretty.

Educated eye
The educated eye will not be fooled. Bet his car sits higher than yours - is taller - and of course, its heavier (looking and in reality).
Get yours detailed to the max (a lot of what you're seeing is new car shine) and try to keep it there. If he parks in a garage every night and you don't, this will be very very tough...
As for racing, unless he has the Extreme, you own his butt in the 1/4 mile (woe be unto you in a road course, however). If you want to compete on looks against the new car shine, another path is the white soap paint in the window with your best et.
Beat that, showboat Saleen!

those supercharged 05 saleens are sick, i saw one on the other side of a busy 4 lane road and took like 10 minutes trying to get across and turn around just to see it. silver supercharged saleen with mirror fading to black tint.... one of the nicest looking cars ive seen in a long time

Yeah they look good, but all they are (unless you get the SC one) are a GT with pulleys and a cold air(as far as HP is concerned) They had one at the track the last time I went and the best he could pull was a 13.8, because of those 20" wheels that kick there @$$ in the 1/4. So I say park right in front of him and do a big fat nasty burnout, and let him hear that SC wine.
