What do you like and hate about your state. If you are near the palm springs area that would be even better. There is a hospital there with a job opening that has potential. However I don't know if I really want to leave Michigan though I always said if I did I'd go somewhere warmer.

So opinions.... be honest

Yeah the no guns thing could be a problem. Along with the strict stance they take on everything automotive related.

Getting firearms isn't a big deal here, especially down in southern california..

Smog laws suck. Traffic sucks. Not to be too racist, mexicans.

Other than that..

Beaches, warm weather if you want it, snow if you want it, night life, out door activities, ect.

As far as the automotive stuff, cops normally don't give a damn unless you're being an asshat to start with. I smogged my car with the stroker ect, and it passed.

Just when it is time to smog, pull the tune out of your car, throw the stock one in, smog, reverse, go about your business.

Oh yea, dealing with anything government related in person, dmv, whatever, sucks.

Getting CCW's is nearly impossible in most counties. You have to put a bullet button on your AR15's its a felony if you dont. You also cant have 30 round magazines if you do that is also a felony.

Cops dont really mess with you and your car but if you get caught you will be referred to the state emissions referee. Or worse, they impound your car.

Can do just about any activity out here in CA anytime of the year if you are willing to drive to those destinations.

I'm still getting used to being back in CA after being gone for nearly 8 years. I been back and living on my own since August last year. No regrets, its going to be 70* today and I live in the cooler San Francisco Bay Area. This is not common for us from what I hear but I dont mind at all.
