That makes 3 times that someone has found me on a forum that hosts a completely non-mustang topic.

Cheddarbob wins this months prize.

So what's been happening heh? With me, I lost about 2 million dollars in assets that I'd collected in the heady days of estate auction bullying. I had 140-ish guns and 2Million rounds of ammo stocked up at my pops place in oregon. He sold the place and decided to move to Florida. Cool, my house is totally on the way, just drop a safe off with each trip.

Well, he didn't even call to tell me he was moving. Or to say that he had moved. In fact the call I got was almost a year later with him saying, "Come get your guns and stuff, too much crime here for me to keep them." I said, "Ok, well I'll be there next summer for my b-day and I'll take them all then." Spring rolls around and I call to confirm my upcoming 3500 mile one way road trip. He says hurry up.

Summer rolls around and I make the trip. 46.5 hours from San Francisco, CA to Naples, FL. A record for me. Finished texas while it was still light out. Get to florida, pop doesn't say dick but does show me his 4 new boats.

Leaving day comes so I say, we should start loading up my guns.

He says, "Oh, well I sold all those and bought the boats."
My jaw dropped. I asked, "ALL? You said ALL of them?"
"Yeah"
"What about the ammo"
"Sold that too and the reloading gear, well most of it"

We go out to the garage and there's 7lbs of gunpowder, 10lbs of bullets and 3 boxes of primers. I had 2 million loaded rounds in water tight ammo cans of .308, .223, .45, 9mm and they're all gone. I had on the way out there called a surplus shop and worked a deal for 21cents per round for the retail stuff and 10cents for my handloads. Would have walked away with just about enough to buy 2 more houses and retire like I'd planned by 40. He sold my Holland & Holland double rifle for 25K (1/3 of its value).

Fast forward 6 months and I've managed to rebuild some of the collection but it'll never be what it was. Just my 1911 collection would cost 20K to rebuild.

kicking my dads **** would be just as easy as drinking a small ocean in one chug. he's well trained and a dangerous man even when crippled. I did worse. I haven't spoken to him since.

It's been a rough year otherwise. The mustang is gone, got my side yard back. Trying like mad to get all my debt paid off this year. Tomorrow is my last day at the pr0n company. I'm going to work for a company that does super secure storage for a little more moolah and a better health plan and to not be insulted by incompetent ***** that are convinced that a capital c at the head of their title makes them right on any subject they care to muck around in. But I digress. My step-uncle who was also the only actual father figure in my life died of cancer, my father in law followed suit and after a 2 year battle with cancer finally passed. My mom and stepdad were going to throw my step-uncles ashes in the trash (not even the courtesy for a proper scatter), so I had to take them. They also lost my childhood home and bunny killin property to laziness, refused to follow advise that would have saved it, only ever called me to beg for money I didn't have to give and generally ignored me then they have my little sis call me and tell me that I'm being mean by not calling them. My eldest daughter has gotten to the "my dad's a *****" phase. Oh, and I can't seem to ever be happy.

It's been a rough year. Not complaining but that has largely been the cause of my general absence.

So, how's tricks with all my biznitches? hmm?

man thats rough, hate it for you. Hope this year treats ya a bit better in the long run.

So your leaving the pr0n world ae', are you going to work for a business in the cloud world? We are now doing some work with Amazon Cloud Services here that I'm part of. Most recently we have been sold off from the NYT's and are have been aquired by a outfit of Florida so we are all kinda playing it by ear to see whats going to happen, nobody really knows anything...

Yeah I can understand what your talking about with your eldest child, I went through some crap with my son of soon to be 19yrs and his mothers wonderful brain washing so he has decided he wants nothing to do with me any longer and his mother not getting child support payments any longer and him that dropped out of school before the new year... so just a wonderful world!

Hope you get the Boss 302 you had been talking about for a while there prior to selling your GT

I was recently dicsovered by a member here on a Jeep forum - lol. Sorry to learn of all the sadness in Rednecks life. Hope things turn around.

I have not been a Mustang owner for almost a year. It is now someone elses problem But, I do miss it. Life simply caught up to us and I got tired of loooking at it in the garage in the winter and having it be broken in the summer. Had two summers in a row barely being able to drive it.....blown motor....and then some major electrical issues.

I have a soon to be 15 year old daughter and I did not want her getting behind the wheel of it either. Been playing with boats (nothing crazy) and bought a Jeep (1999 Sahara). It is girly white and girly slow, but lots of fun in the summer with the top and doors off.

Wife and I now both have company cars, so the Jeep barely goes anywhere.

Big job changes too....I don't even know where to begin with that one. Just fortunate that work is busy and going very well. Traveled to England, Canada, Siberia, and Australia in the last 12 months and will be hitting Europe and LA this year. We closed on a $8B aquisition in December and I am in the thick of it as a result. People to train, programs to launch.

Kids are healthy, I am getting older.....dislocated and broke my shoulder this summer which REALLY sucked and having some back issues. I was playing kickball if you can believe that. Thought I was 16 and dove head first into second. F ME!

Still married (for now - lol) and my girls are now 15 and 10. Doing lots of volunteer work with community theater still. My 15 year old is a straight A student and Cheerleader (yaw, one of those) and my 10 year old is playing a lot of softball.

I won't be lurking around here too much, but I will be checking back.

I use FB a lot.
