When i turned 18 in 1978. It was legal to by beer and/or liquor. Cigarettes didn't have an age. ( your mom could send a 9 year old to the 7-11 to get her a pack of smokes.)

Thanks guys! Nope, none of my family check my facebook--not that they'd get offended by any vulgarities if they did. I ended up just spending the weekend at the beach, it was quite nice. Also, I agree with you rebelyell. If you're old enough to die in combat, you're old enough to buy a drink.
