Default Im moving too!

About a month ago I was offered a job to an "undisclosed location" on a 12 month contract. After I was given the benefits package I accepted the offer. For these last few weeks I had to do some pre-employment screenings and today I found out I was cleared to be hired. The guy asked if I was ready to leave next week! There was no way I will be ready to go next week and had to ask for a different departure date. The whole time I wasn't expecting to leave until November. I was surprised about having to leave so soon but I will get it together before its time to hop on the plane. I will do a few days of company training in San Antonio and then fly out to my new home for the next 12 months.

I been out of work since June 30th and I got a contract less then 2 months later. Hells yeah! Flooding your resume really does help.

It's just rough moving for a not for sure guarantee of a lasting job.

I hope it works out.

haha, that's funny.

Thanks. Unemployment coupled with my GI Bill BAH payments were very nice. But, this opportunity trumps those payments.

I dont plan on making this a career anyway. Just going to make a quick buck. I'm going to try and stay a full time student while I'm over there too.

GL to all, who aren't established in a career move yet. I personally am looking for an exit plan, from the concrete jungle I work in now. Good pay, but dammit is killing me.

My fcking lotto numbers aren't hitting and my savings take a hit whenever something goes awry. Like last week. AC went out at home. Fixed. Clutch replaced in my stang,( my choice). But was needing to be done. Kids school clothes, ( gadaaam) what happened to 30 dollar jeans?? Roof fcking sprung a gadaam leak. (fixed). Looks like I'm gonna need a new roof soon. My lil cushion I had in money took a hit.. I can't retire anytime soon. Just hope I last another 10 years working like a 25 yr. old man...

Man. I'm sorry to hear that. You gotta try and generate income some other way than your paycheck dude. You'll never get ahead working hourly. :-/

I hope all works out.

No worries bro, but thanks. I'm gonna get a pension, from 3 different companies that have owned us from previous years. Pennzoil included. I'm almost at the 35 year mark in my factory, and my wife is a Supervisor there too.. Our 401 K is looking much better lately, and house will be paid for in a few more years. I aint gonna go broke, but I want to retire before I reach 60... I can always be a walmart greeter.. LOL.

Welcome to Walmart you fucktard, go buy something. oops. sorry my knee hurts..
