Getting a droid was the worst mistake of my life. My first one started not working right for no reason, it would freeze, drop the calls, not even ring when someone calls, and about a million more problems. Got it replaced and now my new one is starting to do the same things... If they come out with an iPhone for Verizon like I'm hearing they might do, I'll pay full price for it i dont even care. I have had 5 iPhones and loved all of them.

 

the x is pretty cool. Works well with the Ford sync, you can even recieve your text messages.

 

Idk if this is for everyone or just my family. We have 2 year contracts, then we get an upgrade. The MOST any phone will cost to buy when upgrading online is $200. How much did you have to pay for yours?

When you order online you get instant 100 discount with the droid X. When you buy at a store you get 100 mail-in-rebate.

Verizon account holders get phone discounts every 12 months on 2 year agreements. The discounts are typically better with 2 year contract over 12 month holders.

I like how one person gets a bad one and all of a sudden they are horrible phones. Hate to tell ya, but that can happen with anything. And why would you have 5 iPhones? There haven't even been 5 models. If you loved the iPhone so much, then why'd you switch to the Droid?

Phone came in today, it's sick! Just after 30 mins of messing around with it, I finally see how Android is 100x better than anything Apple can make. Very happy with this purchase, now I just need some good apps. I like apps that can make my phone do new things, make it more productive. Any suggestions?

 

Things will get even faster once Android 2.2 comes out on Friday. I still have 9 days to wait until I get my phone. At least it will come with Android 2.2 out of the box.

I checked verizon today and seen that Droid X's arent shipping until the 19th if ordered today. Crazy!
