My dad just bought an 05 Sport Trac, has 88k miles and is in nice condition. Its his birthday soon so while hes in iraq, we figured wed dress it up a bit and make it look perrty. Weve put a brush gaurd on it, a new chrome towball, and steering wheel cover(i really like the cover looks and feels great), and now im looking for suggestions. I know he wants a bed tonneau but thats around 600$ so thats a bit much of a birthday gift. Im looking for an HID kit, and thought about spikes kits. My questions are, what would you guys recomend for a good gift for the truck, and my question to spike is, do you make custom kits? any info appreciated.

 

Spike doesn't actually make the HID kits. Find out what type of bulbs the car uses and look on his site to see if he has the corresponding kit. As far as a gift goes for the truck, I have no clue. We don't really know your dad and anything would be kinda expensive that would be worth putting on the truck.

 

Yea, figured it couldnt hurt to ask. And what?! Oh you mean he doesnt actually like hand craft the things himself, i figured that. I guess that would be the easier thing to do huh? How do you tell what bulbs you have/use?
