New Mustang!
I'm picking up my new car in 2 days! Cannot wait to post pics...
2000 Mustang GT
75k Miles
BBK Stainless X-Pipe w/ High Flow Cats
FlowMaster Catback
Hurst Short Throw Shifter
3.73 Gears
Cold Air Intake
Performance Chip (w/ Multiple Settings)
Alpine Head Unit w/ iPod Hookup
It is red, and has to be the most shiny car I have ever seen. This guy is in his mid 30's, always kept it in the garage, and first owner before him was older and also kept it garaged. The car has no scratches, and looks showroom clean from the engine bay to the interior to the exterior.
It sounds really good. I heard bad things about Flowmasters but I think they do sound nice. And I really like the short throw shifter.
You can tell this car has not been beaten on. Its in great condition, which is what I was looking for.
I'm not sure what the performance chip actually is, or how effective it is. There is a switch with 4 settings (Great Gas Mileage, Better Gas Mileage, Gas Mileage, Power 93 Octane) which is in the glove compartment.
He lives in Delaware about an hour away from my house... oh yeah... I've never drove stick The ride home should be interesting.

Well at least you got a v8 to drive the stick in.
Just don't dump it.
Remember reverse is longer than first so backing up you gotta clutch more.
Remember that you dont always have to give it gas to take off, just ease out and let it take off on its own.
And mustang 5speeds are soo much harder than my s10's 5 speed cause the gears are soo close.

Awesome, congrats on the car. It's going to make you love Mustangs all over again with the new power and sound. I'm probably getting gears/tune at the end of the summer and make a world of difference in the car.
A buddy and I nearly wrecked his '02 Z28 camaro only two hours after buying it driving home from Dallas. Trucker pulled out in front of us. We slid all over the road and into the median, coming a fist width from hitting the center median divider.

I picked up the new Mustang Wednesday. I'm living in Jersey for the summer and took it to PA, but it was too dark to take pics.
For the record, this is my second GT lol..
And I went through all the papers and here are the mods:
JLT Performance Cold Air Intake
90mm Lightning Mass Air Flow Sensor
Flowmaster Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow X-Pipe w/ High Flow Cats
Hurst Billet Plus SST Short Throw Shifter
SCT 4-Bank Eliminator Chip w/ Tune
3.73 Gears
Power Slot Performance Slotted Front Rotors
Hawk HPS Performance Street Brake Pads
Alpine Head Unit w/ iPod Hook-up
Windows Tinted
Mach 460 Sound System
Amp and Sub
Reverse was killing me dude... I only drove it home that night (an hour and a half ride), and stopped at my friends, but when I went to back it up out of my friends, then at wawa, it gave me serious trouble. It was really embarrassing.
When don't I have to give it gas as I let go of the clutch?? Down hill? I sometimes had issues from a red light and a hill.

go in a big parking lot and mess around till you get the feel for giving it gas and not giving it gas, driving a v8 stick is very easy you all most dont have to give it gas on flat spaces.
when it comes to hill driving you should go find a road that no one drives and learn there, you will have to be alot faster letting the clutch out or your going to roll back in to some one.
if your on a hill you could all ways pull the hand brake then let the clutch out and give the car gas once the car grabs take off the hand brake.
have fun and be safe and all ways remember to push the clutch in when your stepping on the brake or your car wont stop.lol
