Default My Vacation Rant

I've been on Vac this week. Wife and her mom went to visit relatives in VA. Me and my 17 yr old son stayed home. I'm enjoying the pool but I'm also taking care of a 1/2 acre yard full of Daylilies, and a small but plentiful garden of tomatoes, onions, potatoes, blueberries, and strawberries. All good there, cept it's alot of work, along with the laundry I never do..

Anyway, I'm done mowing the lawn on Tuesday. My yard looks great. I have to lift my mower up to get in the shed. My knee went out, and I pulled a muscle in my gadaam back. Been laid up since then. Couldn't hardly move for 2 days.. Plus i talked to my boss at work and he said things are going to hell at work. I get to worry about this for the weekend. Monday aint gonna be fun.. ( That was my rant).

Wife will be home Fri. morn. I'm gonna milk the pulled muscle for a while.
Still sore but at least I can move again.. I'm getting in the pool for therapy and hope I don't hurt myself cause I'm gonna drink more beer too...

Liftin' mowers sounds like work for a 17 year old. My parents yard doesn't get mowed unless I air up the tires, charge the battery, get the gas, and clean out the garage to get the mower out and working. All I can say is, it's good not living at home.

Well sir, In conclusion, I wish your vacation could have went better. I think some delegation is in order. Man your post, the couch, and bark order like Patton from a tank turret. Interestingly enough, my Dad builds Abrams and components for them. If you need some tank lessons, hit me up. LoL. I got some 25mm cannon rounds laying around here.

My son usually does the lifting part when I have to put her in the shed. But, dumbass me decided to do it my self.. Never thought it would take me out like that, Maybe this rant is just out of realizing I can't do things i use to be able to do. My son even bitched at me for not getting him to put the mower away..

I was just mad cause I wanted to do some stuff wed and thurs. that didn't get done..

But my yard looks great and all the flowers are watered and happy cause it rained like a bitch here today. Thank you mother nature...

They stayed in Winchester Va. It's close to most of her relatives that don't live in West Virginia. She got home today and was happy that I didn't kill any plants except some potatoes that didn't make it.. My back is much better and the pool feels good and the beer is cold. Life is good and Vac ended up ok. Still need to wax the stang though.
