Default Trying to pick a new catback

I am tired of my MacPro Dumps. I have been looking into getting something a bit tamer for DD duties and because of the nature of my job.

I have been looking at everything from Pypes Violators, to SLP LM2's or Powerflows and Even some Borla catbacks or even maybe magnaflow. I don't know. The car has a O/R H-pipe on it and stock manifolds for now. I won't be doing an X-pipe so you can shut that **** up now. I still want to hear the car, but I am tired of how loud it is inside the cabin.

thoughts?

man if you got the dime..borla is where it's at.

I remember having those SLP loudmouths..and the noise got old quick. I switched out the resonators for some flows..and the sound had a nice, refined, v8 sound. I loved it.

That's why it would be either Powerflows or LM2, but even the 2's I think would be annoying after a week and I would be back where I am now.

However I will never put ******* flowmasters on my car.

BBK shorties--->BBK Chamber X-pipe ( no cats)--->magnaflow sides --> cheap ebay 2"x6" semi oval tips

Seriously though, the Borla's have a great mix of "OMFG that sounds great" and "Have you done anything to the exhaust?" That's really the best way to explain it. They're nice and quiet when you're just cruising, but when you decide to press the skinny pedal they come to life and sound amazing.

I LOVE your current setup. Im sure it could be a bit much for a dd though. I personally have always loved Bassani on the 2V's. They can be pretty pricey but awesome used deals always come up. I was recently looking around and picked up my MagnaFlow catback for only $120.

maybe mangnaflows, definitely a lot quieter and since its a chambered muffler will keep that classic v8 sound.

Those are a straight through muffler. So it would sound different.

The car does sound good. Maybe I should just get the tail pipes put back on. I don't want a hack job though.

Stingers for sure, I don't know if they have them for your year, but the FRPP stingers are the exact samea s borla but $200 less. I know they have them for 05 adn up since that's what I have on mine.

If you have the scratch go with Borla's, but I always had magnaflows on my stangs. I liked the performance and sound. They are actually pretty mild sounding, but will make some noise when you get on them.
