Carwin IS all around better than Lesnar. Lesnar has had 5 very unimpressive fights with atleast 4 very unimpressive fighters. The only person he fought who was worth a ****, was Randy, and wow, he beat a 40 something who's out of his prime. Carwin has FINISHED everyone he's fought. 11-0, compared to brocks 4-1. Brocks bread and butter is laying down on someone for a whole 3-5 rounds. Carwin isnt going to let lesnar do that, nor CAN lesnar even do that to carwin. Ill even go on to say that, I bet that former roid head douchebag quits fighting after carwin stomps his nutts in.

I agree^ I think Lesner brought a lot of "hype" with him from the WWE. His shear size is the only thing he has going for him.

Just curious as to what you'll say if Lesnar wins? Or if he loses and doesn't quit? But seriously, who and how many guys does he have to beat to deserve to be in UFC? Hate the guy if you want, but why doesn't he deserve to be there. He can probably beat the best guy out there, and you'll still make some excuse. I don't really watch this stuff anyways, but obviously he worked his *** off to do what he does. Plus it's not his fault that they match him up with certain people. You win anyway possible.

Im pretty curious as to what Id say myself, if that was going to happen...but If you know your MMA, then you know better. Never said he didnt deserve to be there, hell, obviously they'll let any 'ol doucher in there as long as they have something to offer for the UFC. Hell, they let Kimbo, a street fighter in there, cause kimbo had ALOOOTT of hype, and hype equals ratings. They let Brock in to see what he could do AND to wrangle up all the "professional wrestling" fans and get them to buy the UFC ppv's. Turns out he beats some mediocre guys, and now every douchebag redneck I know thinks brock lesnar is the best pound for pound fighter on earth. Im just saying, the Heavy-weight division in the UFC wasnt all that stacked when Lesnar got in there, and it still hardly is. There are a **** ton of better, more deserving fighters out there.

If Lesnar is able to pull off a win in a good fashion, not 5 rounds of lay and pray, I'll give him some credit where credit is due. Couture was the best he had fought. Mir has a tendency to look amazing against mediocre fighters, and then get his *** whooped when he actually moves up and has to face good fighters now days.

Lesnar deserving the belt, not yet. He hasn't fought enough fights to actually show he has what it takes to be a champion yet. He has shown he's got the athletic ability though.

I don't like him as a fighter due to his cocky personality, he hasn't beaten the best out there and doesn't have an amazing track record to be like Anderson Silva.

I don't like him as a champion because he hasn't beaten the best out there.

And I do believe Machida is going to be retiring.

And don't be suprised if you actually see Kimbo on a undercard.

Man, I hope Machida retires. He is an absolutely boring fighter to watch. He just back steps and counter punches the whole time, and gains the points. Kinda like how GSP is doing these days....except when GSP does it, he is actually DOMINATING the other guy. Id still like to see GSP start finishing guys though...I know he can...but yeah, machida? Good riddance.

Machida, for the past few fights has been much more exciting to watch then GSP.

I'd rather watch a guy counter punch and swing then watch GSP dry hump someone. GSP rarely attempts to finish a fight legitimately, Machida does.

BTW, Machida got fucked up. Broke some bone in his face, thats why you saw the little string of blood in his nose, and I guess, when he'd breathe in, pressure would build on his eye. Good ****.

Oh, and I'll call it now, Rampage in round 2. Just sayin.

WTF is up with Fedor not fighting Overeem? Instead he's fighting a lesser opponent. Proven, because Brett Rogers will be fighting Overeem, not Fedor.

Rampage has to keep this fight standing to win, and I hope he does. As far as Fedor goes, it blows my mind how he gets matched against the lower part of the food chain. If he is such a bad *** how come he don't fight the best. IMO thats why he (or his handlers) don't sign with the UFC. In the UFC their are no easy fights.

Fair enough. I agree that he's definitely not the best pound for pound fighter, but he's obviously got some skills. I guess only time will tell to see how well he does when better fighters arise.

Did anybody catch UFC Primetime last night? Cover Evans and Rampage as they train for the fight. Rashad's training At the Grudge Training Center in Denver looked intense..sprinting with parachutes attached to him and what not. while it just showed rampage boxing and jogging around liverpool lol. I'm thinking rashad might take the win on this one.

Don't doubt Rampage so much. Rampage has never liked training, and he is actually focusing for it. The camp Rashad is at (he was also in Montreal as well) is the same camp GSP is at..where they teach the amazing lay and pray method.

Rampage however, is a good wrestler, went to college for it as well. He's extremely strong and may very well be able to force Rashad off of him. Rashad doesn't have an amazing chin either..we've seen it.. Rampage on the other hand does...anyone remember how many soccer kicks to the face it took Rua to finally get Rampage to "quit" lol.

Rashad calling Rampage "Quittin" is funny, Rashad hasn't been kicked in the face while he's on the ground multiple times by a guy like Shogun..

Dude, there have been plenty of pride fighters making the transition to the UFC and whipping ***. Anderson, Shogun, Vitor, Dan Hendo..etc..holding titles, too, I might add. Fedor is probably holding out for a bigger contract.

I'm not sure where you went with this. I said nothing about Pride guys not making it in the UFC, I said Fedor seems to be dodging the best fighters.

The best way for Rampage to win is this ^, use his wrestling to keep the fight standing and KO Rashad. I don't think Rashad is giving Rampages power the respect he deserves, and he gets KO for it. The best chance Rashad has is to use to front leg kick like Forrest did, and then use his hands to to put together combo's to set up take downs. Rashad has to get it to the ground to win plan and simple, if he stands and trades he goes to sleep.

Fedor has fought some of the best. He won't sign with the UFC over the way fighters have been treated there, and money. Not to mention he owns like half of Strikeforce. He's getting older, I don't think he's wanting the fights he used to want.

To say he wouldn't demolish 99% of the guys in UFC is absurd. I'll say the other 1% would give him a good fight though.

His handlers = his management. They seem to want more stuff than Fedor does. Why the hell he keeps them guys around is beyond me.

He has said he will NEVER fight in the UFC. Himself, as a fighter. He OWNS half of Strikeforce. The only way he'd fight in the UFC is if they did a joint promotion. Why would he go to UFC and take money away from his business?

I knew he was part owner of M-1 Global, but I didn't know he got part of Strikeforce. I thought M-1 gets to be a co promotion when Fedor fights in Strikeforce. Fedor's manager is the other owner of M-1, and Dana White will not let a M-1/UFC promotion happen just to sign Fedor.

You're right. It's M-1. I get the two mixed up.

M-1 and Strikeforce do co-promotions etc, but the UFC will not. They like having contracts with the fighters themselves, that way they can put them into their video games etc, etc.

Strikeforce also works with DREAM to make some pretty good match up's that wouldn't happen other wise. I think this is a good way to keep their doors open, but Dana will do his best to shut them down. The only reason White will sign Jake Sheilds is to **** Strikeforce off.
