Some of you may know me, some of you may not. Anyways, just thought I'd let some of you guys on here know, in 5 months I'm gonna be a daddy. I can't wait, I'm excited as hell, but I'll admit I'm nervous/scared as well since this will be our first. I've been together with my girl for about 9 yrs now, I'm guessing I should marry her soon?.. Anyways, she'll know what we're having in two weeks on her next check up. I hope its boy, but as long as the baby healthy I'll be screaming with joy!!!

Hey congrats bro! I know exactly how ya feel with the excitement and nerves and sometimes scared completely shitless too. Lol. Fatherhood is a hell of a gig man, trust me on this. I'm sure you care for your soon to be wife and probably even have a great deal of love for her too. But (for me anyway), I can honestly say that I never truly loved anyone untill the doctor laid my newborn son in my arms for the first time. And watching him grom up and learning things that I have taught him. It don't end! I love being a father!


Now. . . . If you have a boy. . . . . He better not be a damned Cowboys fan too! LOL

Congrats man! Kids are a pain in the ***, but totally worth it!

 

Yea a good ol kid beating in the morning and 1 in the afternoon it don't get much better than that. After a couple of years the nerves r shot so you don't worry about them so much. I got 2 girls the oldest just turned 10, and the other will b 7. They r both mean as hell but in a good way.

Congrats Man, Just remember there are many rules to being a good father, and a good spouse too. You have to work as a team. Don't let her handle the load by herself even if she insists. Mothers can be fussy bout their babies. When babies get fussy be ready to take them and give your spouse a break. Don't ever get mad at them, for anything. Soon you will realize that raising a child is your new purpose in life. And if you have the patience you need, you will be rewarded. Soon you will feel that it's your primary goal.

Oh yeah and please remember to feed and burp in rhythm. babies are notorious feeders when they're hungry. But you gotta burp em or else... Don't even think about letting one get some air trapped in their belly. You'll be sorry..
