Default Seafoam

Ive heard this stuff is amazing for cleaning out fuel systems. I have a small gasoline powered generator and a 125 dirtbike, that wont start. Im presuming the carbuerators are gummed up because they hadnt been started in a good while. I have a few questions, A. Will seafoam unclog the carbeurator, B. If so where do i spray it in? and C. What stores usually carry this stuff?

K, cool. So for say a dirtbike, would i just spray it directly into the intake while its running or before it? Its a 2 Stroke. What about the generator? Im not really sure at all what the generator is, ill look later.

If its been awhile you may wanna drain the gas and run fresh gas too with the new seafoam.. They will smoke for awhile too with it.

To get it to fire up. Assuming all are 4 strokes, take the spark plug out, and spray some ether on it, and down in the head, then put the plug back in and if its firing good then no matter what, it will at least hit, and run. Good luck!

EDIT -- you just posted saying its two stroke.. Sea Foam will not fix that carb, those get nasty fast and you need to dissasemble it and clean it out with carb n choke cleaner, clean it GOOD! Do not get anything in the combustion chamber or you will **** up the lubrication on the crank and destroy the engine.

Ugh, ****..Im trying to avoid the above, because idk how. The effin carbuerator on the dirtbike is slap in the middle of the motor it seems like. Id have to pull the whole bike apart for that ****.

2strokes are the simplest engines.. even simpler than a 3 1/2 or 5 hp u find on lawnmowers and tillers.. its just a piston, rod, and crank. The carbs generally dont even bolt on, they are just held on with rubber boots.

My banshees a diff story, its a little more complex, but still simple. Just spray the carb out really good front back top and side. and when u pop ur carb off take a look at ur reed valves and make sure nothings sticking in them holding em open, cause that'll definetly cause it not to start cause it will be dumping all that extra gas in without the vacuum working. Pull the plug on it, clean it with ether or something, and crank the bike over n see if it sparks, if it sparks, it WILL run. If it doesnt then theres many diff things it could be.
