... That they haven't given to 2011 stangs to the auto mags for testing yet?

I want someone to put them through the paces so we can see what they can do.

Hell yeah!

Now you would think they would want to get people to test it and show the good reviews and help sales? kinda surprised they have not. How early did they give the 05s and the 10s to the Mags?

I just wonder how reliable the 5.0 will be..

With all that technology it seems like it will be rebuilt often.

They want those 2010s off the lot first.

It's really not all that advanced the I-VCT isn't all that new and the stuff that they did to the cylinder walls just makes it stronger and it's got no FI so I doubt it's going to be a problem

I expect it to be just as reliable as any other modern engine (4.6, LS series motors, 5.4s). The things you have to worry about with first year productions are things like cylinder head hot spots, faulty e-brake cables, little things like that that take a year or so to work out.

Not even that, they've got a new transmission too. It's not a shitty Borg-Warner/Tremec, and at least they finally started to use Getrag (who they own part of mind you) to its full advantage. So hopefully it won't give them troubles.

I just want a sequential six GT500, because Getrag makes one for BMW that handles 700hp. That'd be the ****.

I hope Tommy Kendall and 1 of his racing buddies will take for a "Test Drive" when they hit the showrooms. They like to put the cars they drive through the wringer and see what it really has to offer, good and/or bad.. I'm sure they will give it rave reviews though..
