Default Need some advice, thinking of selling

I have not been on here for awhile and need some advice.

I have a 1999 Mustang GT convertible. (my sons, in my name)

It has been wrevked on the pass side, the front fender is dented in and the bumper cover is scraped and cracked slightly. The door is a little scatched by salvageable, and the rear quater panel is dinged in a little, but I think it could be fixed. The car does have a rebuilt title and about 85,000 miles on it.

I need to see what a good starting point would be on selling it, he is wanted to find something else to drive now, as he has a young child and is getting married in a few months.

What do you guys honestly think it would be worth. I can get some pics of it tommorrow if you would like to see what it looks like. I also two sets of rims for it, the stock ones, and some stock ones off a 2006 GT.

Thanks

Without having any pictures or anything more than the information you have provided I would have to say somewhere in the neighborhood of $3-5k depending on the extent of the damages. Rebuilt title dramatically affect the value of these cars, especially if it has more visible damage.. Good luck.

^ It's true. If there was no police report or insurance claim on the wreck you can always replace the fenders and not claim it as wrecked/salvaged. That's also a low and dirty, but cost saving move. (That Spinz's friend with a Benz would do).

In the Richmond area that car would go for 2800 to 3500 private seller.

I'd buy it for that area and do a complete swap of all the GT stuff into my cars body. But it'd be tough for you to let it go for what its worth. I have a 2002 V6 just hit 100k, i will be lucky to get 4k.
