well I believe the sn95 has to be the lightest body out of the mustangs, mine would go everywhere when I had my 98'

I drove my 98 stang for 3 years all through the winter and I didn't have any problem controling it and I almost never got stuck it was fun to drift every where I went.

the focus is less fun in the winter but it's much easier to drive

My stang saw snow once...my old T-bird was a bitch to drive in the snow. This will be the first snow season where I have a 4wd truck... should be a little fun instead of a pain in the ***.

I've never driven in the snow. I'd like to, but not in my car. I've had the chance of driving in the snow before, my freshman year of college, tons of snow. But I didn't want to take the car out, wreck, and look like a dumbass.

driving the mustang is fun in the snow, so long as you have some good snow tires and some empty roads. last year it snowed 2 feet in about 3hrs (during rush hour) and they didnt plow the highway because of all the traffic and i had to drive in it. it was horrible, even with snow tires. i was sideways, A LOT. took over 6 hours to drive 24 miles.

Its fun with the car (the few times ive done it) if you are on a road that isnt used a ton that has hard pack, or a freshly dusted parking lot! But you can't beat 4-wheeling through that with a good SUV or truck, better yet... snowmobile!

My car is garaged until the roads are clear again. Until then, I'm in my brothers Lebaron.

last time i drove my mustang in the snow, i scared the living **** out of myself. the road was solid snow. i couldn't stop. i nearly wrecked it several times, but i got lucky (and driver skill) enough to pull into a parking lot to sit and gather my ***** from my chest. i had summer tires on. i had to drive the car too, i was forced to.

i also drove the mustang on a road that was solid black ice too. scared the crap out of me and the passenger.

NEVER EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFETIME. NEVER.

I don't know about Boulder, but I'm about 15 minutes away in Longmont and in the last four days we've got about 6 inches total. But we have been experiencing sub-zero temperatures the last four days too, so most of it is still around. My neighborhood is pure ice, while the city streets are slush and ice. And work sucks in this weather, I work outside and I don't think that it was above 0 +/- with the windchill today at all. It's pretty crazy out here right now.

Ohhh that sucks man. I've eaten in Longmont - I like that side of the area. My gf is from Erie, and there's nothing there lol. Her mom has to drive to Boulder every day... I hope she drives slowly!

haha, you should have seen the road to get back there...its ATLEAST 4 miles away from the road (its game grounds for hunters). it took us about 35-40 mins worth of driving in 6 " of snow. it had inclines that there is no way that an evo would have gotten up. there were also dips that it would have gotten stuck on.

there is no way an evo would have made it up this....as you can see, none of it is paved.....

For sure. But I've heard that the main roads are clear, it's just the side-roads and whatnot that are messy. Well, in town they are. I don't know about the Boulder area, but they're usually on top of that stuff. If you liked Longmont, then you've obviously never been to Pearl Street in Boulder. That place will definitely throw you for a loop with all of the strange, unique types of people you will run into.

I had a 79 trans am that I drove in snow and I don't c how it could b worse than that. Driving 1 way turn the wheel at all and your now going the other way. It's always fun, but that car wouldn't hardly move in the snow. I love driven my 4x4 ranger in 2 wheel, and if I get 2 out of control I can have 4 wheel with the turn of a switch.
