Default Carroll Shelby hospitalized

Alright, so my dad and I are running sound for a Shelby American event he supposed to attend tomorrow night, but we just received word that he will not be attending this year barring a sudden hospitalization for an un-disclosed reason. I don't know how serious this is, but for a guy at his age who has a history of heart problems I fear the worst. I just thought that I would post this here so that you guys know and keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I'll pray of Carroll Shelby. The legend. I met him and my dad and I got to drive with him with his old, but still very crazy and heavy foot. I probably almost pissed my pants. What a great man.

Like FUTURAMA!! lol.

What is going to make me really sad is to see everyone play his death as a way to make more money off of his parts and the cars made by him. Like what everyone did with MJ.

Bye-bye my hopes of ever getting a GT500, Terlingua, or Shelby GT. Especially the latter two since they're stamped by Shelby.

He's home now. Just a scare because he stopped taking his heart pills for a couple days. We (as a group) talk to him tonight via speakerphone at the fundraiser. He's feeling much better and sounds like he's in his 50s again. The doc told him to take it easy, but damn...that was scary there for a bit.
