New phone! :D
When I first got my storm, it was very slow and unresponsive sometimes, but they just released the 5.0 software upgrade. Once I put that OS on it, it's like a new phone. It doesn't freeze anymore, it adds flick scrolling, which was probably the only thing I liked on the iphone better than the Storm.
With this upgrade, the Storm is now my most favoritist phone evar!!!!!!! lol
The touchscreen on the Storm is much better for me than the iphone, because of the clicky function. You have to push down to actually type, instead of accidentally typing letters like I did on the iphone. Here's my take, having both the iphone and now the Storm:
If you use your phone to stay connected with email and facebook, and don't care so much about the media functions, and don't care about worthless apps that really do nothing, get the Storm. The email interface is 100% better than the iphone, and the facebook app is leaps and bounds ahead of the iphone. It's much easier to use in a business setting, comes with mobile versions of powerpoint, word, etc. so that you can check your documents being sent on the phone.
If you walk around with headphones in your ears everyday, all day, and want a bunch of crap on your phone to waste time with, then the iphone is for you. The iphone also is not as durable as the Storm, if you have a habit of dropping them, like I do. Twice, broken screens on the Iphone for me from dropping it, and AT&T doesn't offer insurance on the iphone, so it's $100 to send it back to Apple to get fixed. Screw that. My storm has full insurance.
Now that they've come out with the new OS for the Blackberry Storm, I no longer miss the Iphone at all. It automatically links my Facebook friends and adds their information into my contacts if they're already built as a contact, or I can do it manually if they aren't with the click of one button.
So, having both, here's my take on things:
Storm>iphone for email support
Storm>iphone for Facebook and MySpace support
Storm>iphone for durability
Storm>iphone for 3G coverage. (with the iphone, I could not get 3G here at the house)
iphone>Storm for WiFi (but Storm 2 has WiFi, but I don't use WiFi)
iphone>Storm for medial (of course, it's an IPOD)
Storm>iphone for insurance coverage
Storm>iphone for business
iphone>Storm for fun
Everything else is what you get used to. Typing for me is easier on the Storm, but my cousin prefers the iphone because that's what he's used to.
Now, if the Droid lives up to all the hype, it's supposed to have the best from the BB, like email and business apps, with a media player that rivals the iphone. We'll see, I haven't gotten my hands on one yet, my Storm is perfect for what I need to do, I don't need the media stuff, I have an ipod already.

The Droid looked cool at first, but then I held it in person and it felt kinda cheap to me. Didn't get to play with it though. The Storm 2 is suppose to be a lot better from what I hear. I like my Samsung Omnia. The touch screen is pretty close to the responsiveness as the iphone and the Omnia 2 thats coming out soon will be even better. More memory, WinMo 6.5 and an AMOLED screen.
I've played with iPhones and they don't do anything my phone can't minus the downloading stuff from itunes, but I don't do that anyways. I'll take Verizons service over AT&Ts anyday.
