Default Ubuntu

anyone using it? I am burning 9.10 now and it will be the OS for my old PC, and if I like it better...my new PC as well.

Linux is going on a 512MB P4 2.8GHz PC...so I hear Ubuntu should be fast on it. XP is slow on the thing.

I've got it installed on a small thumbdrive so whenever I go to the school library I can run my own operating system.

all the time. I'm a UNIX/Linux admin by trade.

Ubuntu is making great strides in the desktop space and to a lesser extent in the small startup server market. I don't see it being used much in larger scale deployments but it's at least a fairly easy distro to deal with.

I'm a RHEL/CentOS guy myself.
