I will be getting this. Preordered it awhile ago. Not sure if I will pick it up tomorrow or not. Still playing Forza 3 and I don't even have a lot of time to play that. Never the less, can't wait.

 

by all means,, do not watch the controversial video.. it has probably ruined the game for me but also made me want to buy it.. If you are prompted to skip mission "no russia" dont skip it, play it, and prepare to be shocked.. Im still tranced.

It's a ******* video game. If your kid is fucked up enough to play a game and want to go out and shoot people afterwards than he needs help.

People always have a reason other than their own god damn parenting skills.

I've had two friends commit suicide.

One because neither of his parents wanted to support him.

The second because his mom got beat by his dad, but never said anything and instead took it out on him.

Both of their parents blamed it on his friends and these "violent" video games.

I am curious now what is the deal with this controversial mission? I've seen some sick stuff in video games before...what could possibly be so bad that they ask if you want to skip it in a mature rated game?

Eh I just found it on youtube. It wasn't that bad. It actually does make you hate terrorists more, however.

meh, trust me. its worse. once youre playing it, you'll see the difference between that mission and playing GTA

 

I watched the video of that mission. It's a video game, it could be much worse. I will still be able to put my head on my pillow tonight and go to sleep just fine.

 

I dont see what the problem with shooting civilians in a game is. Have any of these retards played Grand theft Auto?

The German version of the game is lolworthy, it's censored and you can't shoot the civilians. It's bascially a long *** cutscene where you walk aroun d, bahahahaha.

 

I can't say I've ever shot a civilian in a videogame, and then wanted to do so in real life. Nor have I wanted to bang a prostitute, kill her, then take my money back. At least the last 2 parts anyway.

 

at that mission your CIA. no terrorism. its still horrible. I just felt sick at it, the momentary pause. its bad.

welp i finished beating it on recruit about an hour ago(incredibly short, only about 4 hours worth for me, however vet. is gonna take me a while), probably gonna start veteran tomarrow. Haven't even touched multi or spec ops yet, but i look forward to another 1000/1000 gamerscore game

 

I just beat it too. Cool story line. Some of the maps were incredible.

 

Will pick it up after work today. There was no way I was going to wait in line or pick it up at midnight and then get up at 5 for work. Now I gotta find time to play it.

I also got a research paper due... between work n college I probly wont get to play as much.

 

got the prestige and will play it as soon as i get off work! only 1 more hour left..... i reall like everything that came with the prestige pack it was worth it.

Picked it up yesterday after work. The wife knew it was coming out, so she left me alone for a couple hours so I could play. Great game so far. I'm playing on hardened and it's pretty damn tough. Graphics are better than the first. Played a little online as well and got my *** handed to me. Guess I should have been practicing before hand. Anyways, great game, and can't wait to play some more.

Oh, and I think the campaign is long enough. Most of the games I have I never beat cause it takes forever and I just go play online. 4-5 hours is just right considering the endless amounts of hours that will be played online.

 

Mine didn't come in, they said it would be delivered on the release date...damn liers...why can't they have awesome service like AmericanMuscle? It better be delivered today.

 

haha, thats why I just pick it up at a store. Can't trust those damn deliveries.

such a improvement from the first modern warfare in my opinion, the campaign is awesome,i thought the ending was great
