So i got Tekken 6 yesterday.

the graphics are sweet, same excellent tekken gameplay, tons of customization, and over 40 characters to choose from with nice interactive enviornments.

too bad you spend most of the time watching the damn thing load. Plus online sucks ***. There is a lag that really screws the game up. Seeing as how the tekken gameplay is based off timing it totally throws any chance of having a good match out the window.

I played about 5 rounds online, lost 2. I get the feeling that the Lag is not the same for both players, on the two i lost the game would jump and jerk a lot worse than the other three i played.

looks like the deciding factor for the online matches is "he who lags the most loseth thy match"

if you can get past the load times for the arcade modes it is pretty sweet.

 

The only Tekken I've played was the original for PlayStation. Not interested in the newer ones. I'm sorry you are disappointed.

 

If you play a lot of games, invest in renting Jack. At my house, we all pitched in for a 35$ a month membership and you can have 2 games/movies out as long as your heart desires. No more disappointment from games. Just take em back.

 

tekken tag is the only tekken i will play.

 

dont get me wrong, the new one is fantastic, if you can get by all the loading times.

I love it on my Xbox.

I haven't had any lag as of yet. Played online with my buddy for about two hours today....

 

maybe it is a problem with the PS3's online system.

I finally beat the **** out of that giant machine today, used Nina, fucked him up properly. lol

i think it kind of sucks that the characters arent unlockaable. i always enjoyed that about the earlier versions.

I finally played it on my roommate's PS3. No kidding about the loading times, it felt like I was waiting around all day.

 

AGREED! I hate games that have nothing to offer you as far as unlocking stuff as you go. All it gives you is a boost in your ego of kicking some CPU ***.

Of course, I guess the nine year olds can bitch enough because they can't beat anything to play their favorite characters.

 

I have a great wireless signal throughout my house. I can use my laptop anywhere, wife can use her ipod touch anywhere, Xbox 360 always worked great, but the PS3 seems to be problematic at best with it.

My computer and router are down in the basement, my PS3 is on the main floor. It is no more than 12 feet from the router but has 2 walls and a set of stairs to contend with.

I may just have to run an ethernet cable. It shouldnt be THAT hard, ill just have to get it under the stairs and up through the wall and into the garage.

EDIT: If it turns out just to be the signal and PS3 online runs smooth with Tekken 6 ill be totally stoked. I cant wait to get in therte and whoop everyones ***. The lag totall destroys it though. I also read about LAG issues on IGN i think it was.

 

My friend has connection issues with his PS3. He also has a few walls to go through. We've also found out that the signal gets stronger when his Bluetooth is turned off.

Try going wired and see what happens.

Ive been jamming the campain mode recently, had to beat the ever living **** out of that robot chick asuka or whatever her name is.

then 2 more levels opened up and i had to come to work.

i dig all the costumes, it just sucks that everything is so damned expencive. im saving up for the aura.
