Lol... to further add, since I'm good and drunk (now) pay to play the game and a big **** you.
So, I go to the track tonight, (last pass i get to make of the season now) against this dude with a KB'ed GT thats been talking his **** on my nuts all year since this build started...
Well, I ate him up, all 436+ pounds of torque he had.. BUT..I had a nitrous sneeze
Blew off atleast 3 lines..so major vaccuum leaks, oh not to mention, the car wants to stay at 1500 RPMS and on fire up - at 3k..and the headers are now glowing red. Son of a bitch.
But hey, I don't know how to pay to play this game. (Yes, this is a big **** you GDP)
I didn't even pay attention to the timeslip, since I lost my brakes...so once I go back to my car (prolly monday) I'll grab the slip.

I wouldn't go as far as saying any modification in California is illegal. If there is a CARB stamp then its not illegal. My Vortech is a mod, has a carb stamp, therefore not illegal. The point to this whole thread though was the fact that someone put something on Bakos car that could have gotten him pulled over. Yes he has illegal stuff on his car and I'm sure he wouldn't bitch about getting a ticket for it since he knows the consequences, but its the fact that he would have gotten nailed for something that someone else did to his car. He wouldn't have been stopped for the no cats or n2o, it would have been for the license plate.
I've been running long tubes and no cats for about 4 years now. Only gotten pulled over once and that was for registration. Been in front of many cops and nobody pulls me over for exhaust or anything (knock on wood). Anyways, GDP needs to chill out. Bako wasn't bitching about his illegal mods and he can do whatever he wants with his car.

Don't worry, one day that will change. You may be safe now, but eventually all the other states will adopt some form of emissions.

haha, yup it's right on the plate that shows you what model you have and everything. The manual also tells you the carb number. I believe its the same number for all models.
