my DD has been turning off on me pretty frequently, only when I am on the brake at a stop light or when I put it in park, the car turns off. Sometimes when I am at a light and on the brake the car surges forward literally overpowering the brakes even when im holding the brakes down. Could this be like a fuel problem or IAC or something? Anyone have similar experiences. Its a chev malibu. It only has like 65k on it, so its not that old yet.

 

Surging and dieing would lead me to clean the IAC and EGR before anything else.
