Default First Pistol...

I'm sure I'll hear some smack because of the brand but oh well. Just bought a Hi-Point C9. I'm pretty happy because its my first pistol. Either getting a Glock or a S&W (.40) next.

Any gun is better then no gun at all. I have a glock19, and I like it alot.

Congrats man. I have a H & K USP .45 and i love it. I think you just need to find a gun you like and that fits you and your style of shooting and one you can handle. Since i already have my pistol I am looking to go AR 15 next.... I really want a G36K but H & K does not sell them to civillians..... booooooo

Not really a fan of any of that Hi-point stuff, but it's a good way to get into the firearms world...I'd get rid of it once you get your Glock, though. Hell, you'll probably want to by then anyway, haha.

Yea probably so. I just went a put about 50 rounds through it. Pretty accurate. I don't mind it. Might keep it and leave it in the car.

Congrats! How much did you get it for?

I agree that once you get a higher end gun you probably won't want to keep the Hi-Point. Once I got my Sig P239 I lost all interest in my Taurus PT111. I think I am a Sig man for life now. I may get a p229/226 next.

Oh it was very cheap. $160. Thats the real reason I got it. I don't care about scratching it up. Good for home defense, or riding around in car.

Be careful with the riding around in car part. It gets really easy to pull it out because someone decides to tailgate you, and then you can get into trouble for brandishing.. It does bring peace of mind though, cause ya never know why someone is tailgating you.. double edged sword there..

Like the bumper sticker says " keep honking, I'm reloading"

lol...its not supposed to be intimidating, but its very practical.
Small, easy to shoot, lightweight, and super high-velocity, so it will go straight thru the carjacker's head...and the carjacker behind him as well.

In texas, your car is considered domain, like your house....and you can legally keep a handgun in your car for protection, without a license.
So, if some cop pulls me over and I have a big ****** shiny .357 Mag in the seat, instead of this harmless looking thing....I might get fucked with.
Sooo....there ya have it.

Plus it's accurate as a bitch.

No and no.

You don't need a permit, as long as it's not concealed.
No, it's not a 9...it's a .32 cal.

Yes, you are an ***.
But you're still my boy.

lol...figured you'd have a bitch-gun too.

Naw, i keep it under the passenger seat, so it sticks out a llittle bit, so...technically you can see it, so it's not "concealed."

Lol.... I'll remember that. Can't promise you anything though. I might just have to pull it out on someone for being a jack ***.
