5.0 motors are bigger than 4.6's!

What is you favorite year for a fox body?

I will always love the '87's and nothing like the 93's.

 

Im a sucker for a black or teal 93 cobra, but I LOVE the like 92 or 93 notches that are that Teal/Sea foam green color....oh man id love to have a cherry one of those. Cough cough 347 stroker cough

 

My first stang was an 89 LX Coupe with the Police Interceptor package. That thing looked like a stripped 4-cyl!, but man would that thing fly! I would like to find or build another one someday

 

Personally, I'm partial to the 89 LX Convertible. Once you go convertible, you can't go back!

My first mustang was the 25th anv. 90 hatch. than I got my 25th anv notch interceptor! but my fav is 86 four eye!

 

If I had to get another fox body it would be my old 1985 SVO but I would stick a V8. Its incredible how expensive some the the high performance stuff costs compared to the V8.

 

Hey more useless trivia for you a 302 isn't in all actually a 5.0 a 306 is though. I know I too am striving for post ***** excellence

 

I love 5.0's there my favorite engine and maybe the most respectable in stangs but i have to say the 4.6 has alot of potential from what i ahve read they have got 2,000 hp out of a 4.6 so i have mixed feeling on which one is better

 

I'm in love with the old foxes would have got one if I could have found an unabused one im price range

I LOOVE the 302, raced a with a guy who had a 302 89, it was so hard to keep up with him ^^ I love them.

I have a 73 Maverick with a Built 306 with about 475 HP...
It runs high 11's all motor....It is a MISERABLE car to drive as a daily driver

Consider a 03 or 04 cobra with minor bolt-ons will be running the same times as me, and be a normal street car!!!

The power than can be made, yet still be streetable in the new 4V mod motors is unbelievable....


I had a 93 5.0, 99 V6, 01 Roush V6, and now an 04 GT....

That 04 GT RULES ALL in comparison to the rest....

 

I know the new engines maybe be better but still nothing beats the old muscle engines

 

If I had another fox body it would be a 91 or 92. They have some select forged internals from the factory.

 

5.0.s great motor.. but over done.. 4.6's the way to go.. just as much reliablity, handles alot more power, and makes more power in stock form.. as for foxes. naaa not for me too many people have em.. but if i had to get one i would take a mint 93 R..
