As much as I hate BMW's, I must admit that I like that car (except for the bulging fender flares.) I'd probably lose the wing too. That must have been one costly build. I'm guessing that V10 was at least $15k if they bought it through BMW.

I would say way more than 15K considering KarKraft at one point was selling the GT500 engine for that price.

I was just guesstimating based on prices for Audi engines with that level of performance/complexity, mainly the engine for the RS4. Of course, that is only a V8, not a V10. It is not quite as powerful either. Maybe $20k would be a better guess then. That's assuming of course that he bought the engine new. He could have just as easily removed it from a wrecked M car. And considering how Bimmer owners drive, I'm sure there are plenty of those laying around

For that entire build, if he did it himself about 30k. If he paid someone to do i'd say 35ish.

I'm going to say he paid more than 35k for that entire build. A lot of man hours, labor, and fabrication went into that, not to mention all the parts for the car.

the engine alone is $21K. We did a few swaps when I was at the dealer. that E30 in the vid cost every bit of 50K to build...probably more.
