So, tonight I was at the drag strip, upped the nitrous a little bit, had to test out the Mickey Thompson drag radials, ect.

Well, my best pass, was my all time best of 12.38 @ 107..

I got 3 passes in, it took 6 hours to get those 3 passes in, due to it being packed..

So, I'm on my way home, got my girl with me, just cruising back on the freeway, probably doing about 70 still have the numbers on my windshield and passenger window..

I see this set of headlights come flying up onto me and this dude gets right next to me, hes in a little primer honda crx got his ltitle girlfriend with him..and then i see this blue acura RSX next to him..so I'm like "whatever.." and continue driving..these two tools stay next to me for oh.. about a mile..trying to get me to race

My thoughts were this: I know you two dicks ran at the track, you're both on street tires, and you're both probably cutting 14s at best, I ran in a different lane, so chances are, you probably WATCHED me run. #2 is that broke down pos honda really going to go anywhere quick?

So needless to say, I roll down my window, flip the dude off and laugh at him.. he proceeds to floor his little rattlebox and the acura next to him takes off with him..

About a mile or two later, both of them are pulled over on the side of the road, hoods popped, being inspected by two CHPs..

So, what do we learn here? Being a tool in a honda or a rsx and trying to race a mustang that you saw run on the freeway is not going to make you cooler. Flooring your little shitcanned 4 banger isn't going to help you any. And the highway patrol will own your punkass afterwards.

Man that little motor is running good aint it. How did it hook with the new rubber? How far did you up the spray? One more, what 60 ft. times did you have with the MT's?

 

Something around a 150 shot. the MTs hooked pretty well, due to the transmission issues I can't get a burnout for ****, when the car shifts, the wheels stop moving and the RPMs die, like I'm not even giving it gas anymore.. My 60 ft was a... 1.73 not my best 60 but it did what it needed to.

What I'm suprised by is how the car no longer tries to bog at topend..it just continues to go.. at I was able to pull 100MPH in 3rd gear at 6k when I hit the 1/4 I was 107.55 and the car didn't seem to even think about slowing down the RPMs were at about 4k

I'd like to be able to find a 12.1 in this motor before the season is over, but it doesn't look likely, so I'll have to mess with it next year..

 

i have this happen all most every day i drive the evo, maybe its the wing who knows........

 

I think after all the little gremlins are works out, the car should go 11.80's or 90's.

Most of the time they aren't..not when they are like that..

I'd like to run a M3 or a M6 or something just to see how I fair against one.. I however..don't want anypart of the Mercedes AMG supercharged whatever the hell it is..

I watched one run 11s right out the box..

I did however get to eat a z06 or two up that were stock on drag radials..

 

You should be able to beat the older inline 6 M3s pretty easily. Not sure about the new one's though. I raced a newer S55 AMG I believe it was and those things haul *****. Even with all that weight, those things move. It's a shame that most corvette owners can't drive their cars.

 

I love when people try to race me on the highway, then a few miles later on you see them pulled over.

There are only two vettes that were out there htat had my spanked..one was a stroked LS7 or someshit running 10s on the motor 9s on nitrous..

The other was this silver z06 with some minor work done it was running 11s

And yea...my car...and highway/street racing won't happen, ever. Too much to lose and I don't need to try to prove how big my sack is by saying "i killed some honda on the freeway hrhr"
