Unhappy Had to get new wheels

Well, my little gray wheels are gone.

The other day I was driving in the left lane and I hit something with my right front wheel - meaning it was in the middle of the road. Not only did it destroy the tire, but it BENT the lip on my wheel and put a huge grind mark on the metal. I got the wheel fixed and the tire was basically new and had road hazard, but the tire didn't seat right on the wheel afterwards.

SO, I've joined the Bullitt people here lol. They're stocker bullitt wheels off an 01 bullitt that only had 13k miles on the wheels with brand new tires on them. Fronts are 245/45/ZR17 and backs are 275/40ZR17. So yeah! Yay for bigger wheels and stuff. I'll get pics up tomorrow.

That sucks... did you ever find out what you hit? Also, what wheels did you have before?

I love my bullitt rims. When my 04 was new I couldn't get the aluminum to shine like it should. I guess they clear coated the whole rim. After time and enough polishing the rims shine great now, and the spokes still look brand new. I'm guessing I finally polished the clear coat of the rim and now it shines like polished aluminum should.

Damn that sucks. Why didn't you just replace the one wheel?

Oh man, I really liked how your wheels looked on your car.
Sorry about that.

Soooo... I hate to be an ***, but why not just buy another wheel?....

Seems easier than going through the hassle of buying four stockers.

^ Yeah, it was almost the same price as getting four new wheels and tires.
