If you're bored with the car, go for it.

It does have a supercharged and built 5.4 liter engine...

It's not like it's a boltons GT

I say no way. 20k is a good price and probably more than you will get for it later on, but I say keep it.

True. But seeing as how you're a fellow forum member perhaps he would be willing to work something out with you. You won't know unless you ask..

You have a 12 second GT? And wanting to sell to buy a slower car? No thanks. I'd look at a new 3 valve simply for a different body style ect, and then eventually do work to it...

You're not going to get a GOOD mid-mileage Cobra for less than $25k. If you're planning on trying to do that then I'd say keep your car, because for $20k you'll be getting yourself into a high-mile, rode hard, put up wet Cobra. Pointless IMO.

If your 5.4 is built, then you should be smoking cobra's. Just do some full suspension and make it look like a cobra if you want. I would sell for 20K, but I wouldn't sell it for a cobra especially with a supercharged 5.4 in it. If anything, get an older ZO6.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Your car is unique and could probably give a stock 03-04 Cobra a run for its money.

There are some things you could ask yourself. Would you regret it if you sold it? How would you feel if you put all that hard work and money into that car and whoever bought it didn't take care of it? Are you wanting to get rid of it because you're bored with it? Have you gone as far as you can go with it? Do your plans for another car justify getting rid of your current one?

take the money. You'll never get an offer like that again.

EDIT: and if he played with the suspension a little it'd be staring 11's in the face.

If you have been wanting to sell your car for a while then do it. You will never get an offer that high again IMO. I have seen built turbo'd GT's with butt load of mods sitting trying to get 10-11k and having no luck still.

Haha I hear that brother, but you know honestlly I knew all along that modding my car to the point that I have is a bad investment...but it is a hobby that I love and enjoy. I look at it as alot better then wasting it on a bad drug habit. I have fun modding my car and driving it around and I would miss it so bad if I was to sell it.
