I did a little side job and have a little extra dough. There's a cowl hood in my area I could pick up for 150 which will need to be painted but I am planning on repainting my front end anyway because of some flames I put on it. Or I am thinking of some meter4it sequential tail lights. Or buy some more parts for my splitport swap. I've got a windstar upper already. What do ya'll think. There's also some wheel spacers for 100 I was looking at on am.

finish the split port swap, it makes the car so much more fun to drive.

Yeah definitely finish the split port swap. I wouldn't put a cowl hood on a v6 unless it actually needed one, wheels spacers are pointless, and sequential tails are one of those final touch things, I wouldn't put them ahead of any performance modification that can be made.

Well for my split port project I will be using a windstar upper which I already have. Should that be a factor in making my decision? I am pretty sure I heard u can make it fit under the stock hood with the angled throttle body spacer, but I would imagine it would be easier to put it all under a cobra or cowl.

why wait till I need one. If it's a good deal shouldn't I get it to make room for future mods? When I do my splitport swap I may decide to put a intake spacer on. Then I would definately need one using the windstar right?

Yep with Vapauto.com new angled spacer you can use it under the stock hood. I say get that split port swap done and save up for a cam to go with it as your gonna have the motor mostly apart anyhow might as well go all the way. If not the 94-98 cam is slightly more aggressive then the 99-04 cam so its better by a hair then a stock 99-04 cam.

After looking at your car I think finish the split port swap and get a set of used bullit wheels and do work.

Wait until you need one and use the money for better things. A cowl hood on a v6 is just ridiculous unless you have something impressive under it.

A cowl hood on anything is ridiculous unless you have something impressive to back it up.
